Another reason why local governments want people, scientists and intrigued people, to steer clear of these indigenous group is that outsiders may bring diseases that the Sentinelese are not ready to fight. In the history of our world, there have been many instances where ‘explorers’ go to seemingly isolated societies and introduce diseases that wipe out entire tribes. That is the last thing anyone wants for these people, so we want to protect them from us!
