Carrols was a fast food burger chain that existed from 1960 until the mid-1970s. Their signature item was the Club Burger—in fact, their menu boasted the slogan, “Home of the Club Burger.” Originally, Carrols was known as Tastee-Freez, an ice cream franchise. It was later named after Carol Marantz, the daughter of Tastee-Freez’s founder.
