The Richest Mega Pastors in America

Even though you’re probably not familiar with his name, you’ve probably seen his face somewhere before, as Kenneth Copeland is considered one of the most prominent televangelists in the world, as well as one of the most controversial.

Growing up, Kenneth Copeland dreamed of becoming a pilot. Instead, however, he’d become a recording artist that would eventually become known for his Billboard Top 20 hit “Pledge of Love”. He would eventually leave his music career behind at the age of 206, and in 1967, he would go on to establish the Kenneth Copeland Ministry alongside his wife Gloria.

Copeland owns multiple private jets and a 33-acre facility in Forth Worth, Texas, which only helps to add to his still-growing net worth of $26.5 million.

Pat Robertson

Born into a prominent political family in Virginia, Robertson spent a few years in the Marine Corps before returning to complete his law degree from Yale in 1955. After failing the New York bar exam, Robertson claims to have experienced a life-changing religious conversion and enrolled at the New York Theological Seminary. He then established the Christian Broadcasting Network in 1960 and his net worth has just continued to grow since then.

A savvy business man, the Southern Baptist Minister has spent the last 50 years as the host of “The 700 Club” and has founded many organizations, including the ABC Family Channel and Regent University. Although his actual net worth remains unknown, many estimate it to be as high as $1 billion, effectively making the 86-year-old the richest pastor in the world.
