The New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams duked it out Sunday night for the 53rd Annual Superbowl. In a snoozer of a game, the Patriots won the title for this year.
Despite the Rams losing the game, they were able to make history for another reason.

The Rams welcomed the first ever male cheerleaders to perform at a Superbowl. Napoleon Jinnies and Quinton Peron helped make history by finally incorporating some diversity within the cheerleading lineup.
Speaking about the decision to welcome them to the team, a spokesperson said, “If you have the talent and skill set, you shouldn’t be discriminated on the basis of sex.”
Folks watching the game were more than happy to see the NFL finally go outside the boundaries of gender norms.
