The Live Action Pokémon Movie is Creeping Everyone Out

The trailer for Detective Pikachu is out, and it’s…well, see for yourself.

The movie, based on the Pokémon video game, is about Pikachu teaming up with the only human who can understand him. The kicker? Pikachu is voiced by Ryan Reynolds. I literally don’t even know what else to say. Why did they have to give him a deep male voice? Why? What did we do to deserve this?
