Micky McAvoy trusted Brian Perry and George Francis to take care of his share. Kenneth Noye was hired to dispose of the gold and make it into money. That sudden movement of money tipped off the bank and Noye was arrested. He was placed under surveillance. He killed an officer in his backyard when the officer was investigating but was let go on self-defense.
