What would you do if you found a note attached to a single rose? Read it, of course! The boys at Bishop Vesey’s Grammar School Rowing Club in England found the note attached to a gate to the lake they were going to practice at. What was on it nearly broke their hearts:
Naturally, they answered this woman’s wishes and documented it for social media. Their wish is to find her to let her know that the rose made it to her late husband!
Not only did this warm people’s hearts everywhere, but it also sparked the conversation for accessible communities. Some people were heartbroken to read that she couldn’t get to the lake in her wheelchair. Thanks to this woman, more people have been made aware of the hardships disabled persons face to do simple tasks.
