In that moment, Lauren was convinced they were having twins. She felt a rush of excitement flow through her veins. She had gone from believing there would be some sort of birth defect to picturing life as a family of six. “No, I see three” Lauren recalled saying as she looked at the ultrasound again. The couple weren’t expecting two babies, but three! This was much better than they had ever anticipated. Lauren was brimming with excitement and positive vibes. The doctor confirmed that Lauren was indeed pregnant with three babies, and that they were all healthy!
