Jeannie sat down with him in order to learn what exactly happened. She learned that this baby was his, and that he and the mother wanted to give the baby up. Jeannie told him that once he relinquished his parental rights, he would not be able to check up on this baby or his condition anymore. Not wanting that to happen, she told him to think about it, and think about options, before making any rash decisions. She gave him two parental bracelets so that they could come and visit.
