Jeannie’s Advice
The teen father, who has remained unnamed, came to the hospital with his girlfriend and mother of the baby, Cherish Coates. The teen mother was upset and overwhelmed, keeping her head down the majority of the time. Jeannie immediately knew the words to comfort the teen. She remembers saying, “You know that you saved his life, right? I don’t want you to hang your head.
