Ancient Animal Traps
These are small, hand crafted stone ‘walls’ that were found on the deserts of Israel, Egypt, and Jordan. These were first spotted in the early 20th century by pilots that saw them from an arial view. Some believe that the purpose of these stones was to funnel wild animals toward a small pit in order to hunt them easier in large numbers. It’s a very smart idea!
