Is it a crime against humanity or a genius marketing tactic? Perhaps we’ll never know. After a three-year-long hiatus, the Bacon Wrapped Deep! Deep! Deep! Dish pizza is back for a limited time only, so get it while it’s hot.
The pizza is wrapped on all sides in 3½ feet of crispy, thick-cut bacon. It’s also topped with pepperoni and crumbled bacon bits. It’s meant to be a variation on deep-dish Detroit-style pizza with edges of caramelized cheese. Customers who downloaded the Little Caesars app on their phone were able to start ordering the pizza yesterday.
Little Caesars previously issued the pizza for a nine-week run back in 2016. Ed Gleich, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing for Little Caesars, said in a press release: “It’s no surprise that customers emphatically asked us to bring back the bacon, and we’re very excited to offer early access to customers who have downloaded our Little Caesars app, which is really easy and fun to use.”
