During the holiday season, delivery drivers are extra busy, so one homeowner, in particular, makes sure that her delivery carriers are taken care of in the best way.
Kathy Ouma has a tradition of putting out a basket of goodies for mail workers to keep them powering through their busy days.
While Ouma puts this snack tray out every year, one delivery driver for Amazon, named Kareem Earl Reed III, went viral for his gracious reaction to Ouma's small act of kindness. Ouma's Ring security camera caught Kareem's sweet reaction where you can see his exclamation of delight.
“Oh! This is nice!” says Reed. “They’ve left some goodies! Oh, this is sweet! Oh, wow! Get out of here. This is so nice!”
Ouma's basket had a sign attached that said, "UPS, USPS, Amazon, FedEx: Please take some goodies to enjoy on your route. Thank you for making holiday shopping easy. The Ouma Family."
The best part of the video came after Reed made his snack selections and did a little happy dance as he headed back to his truck. The heartwarming video has been viewed over 10 million times and serves as a reminder for everyone to show some gratitude during this busy holiday season.
