Legally Blonde is 20 Years Old, So Here's Where The Cast Is Now

Legally Blonde is one of the longest-standing chick flicks that paved the way for young women to realize that their own self-worth is more important than any relationship, especially with a person who doesn't value you. Reese Witherspoon's iconic Elle Woods character has gone down in history with her classic one-liners. "Bend... and snap!" and "What? Like it's hard?" when asked about how she passed her LSAT. There's arguably no better feel-good film, and it turns 20 this year. Here's what three of the main characters have been up to since its release...

Reese Witherspoon took on countless iconic roles. From June Carter in Walk the Line to Sweet Home Alabama to Big Little Lies, she's a Hollywood staple. She had a good run on television with Little Fires Everywhere, a series adaptation of the novel by Celeste Ng. She also founded a clothing company called Draper James. But the best news? She's returning to the screen as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde 3.

Luke Wilson portrayed Emmett Richmond, Elle's love interest. Since then, he's taken on roles in The Family Stone with Dermot Mulroney and Diane Keaton, Old School, and The Royal Tenenbaums. It's unclear if he's involved in Legally Blonde 3, but he hasn't said no to the offer yet.

Selma Blair played Vivian Kensington, Elle's nemesis and then best friend. She was engaged to Warner, who'd just broken up with Elle, so the two start out on bad terms before putting aside their differences and becoming BFFs by graduation. Since then, she added several projects to her repertoire. She landed roles in The Sweetest Thing, Hellboy, Storytelling, A Guy Thing, A Dirty Shame, The Fog, Kath & Kim, The Poker House, Anger Management, Dark Horse, In Their Skin, Ordinary World, and American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson. She's now suffering from M.S. and is undergoing treatment. A documentary, Introducing, Selma Blair, follows her journey with her diagnosis.
