In Delburn Australia, a raging bushfire was started by an arsonist, and David Tree, a volunteer fireman, was patrolling the border of it. As he was driving, he spotted a koala, slightly singed and covered in ash. David Tree stopped the car and ran over to the animal to give him a much-needed drink. After getting off duty for the day, he brought the koala over to a wildlife refuge center for him to get treated.
