Carter’s Costume
Carter was born with a birth defect called Spina Bifida, which renders him paralyzed from the waist, down. Carter’s dad knew that Halloween was coming up, and he wanted to make sure his little boy could have the same trick-or-treating experience as all the other kids in the neighborhood. With some cardboard and paint, Carter’s dad built a beautiful ice cream truck costume for his son, around his wheelchair.
