The Parenthood star posted a video of himself shaving the side of his head on Thursday because his daughter asked for a "specific haircut" and he decided to join in on the fun. The kicker? He had a Sara Bareilles song playing in the background as he went through with his DIY cut.
The song is actually a favorite of Shepard's daughter, and he said the song "Armour" has been "an anthem for them to listen to." Bareilles responded with a comment that said, "This is the best best best. Thank you for being a kickass dad for your strong young women!"
In a followup post, Shepard revealed his handiwork and compared it to fellow Parenthood (albeit the film) star Rick Glassman. Wife Kristen Bell reposted the video and added a comment that read, "I love this man so much. He wanted to twin with our daughter. My oldest daughter shaved the side of her head a couple weeks ago. I gave her permission. She just woke up one morning and was like, 'I need to have this whole side right here.'" The little one rocks the look just as well as her dad does.
