The wing on Flight 182 fell off and everyone on board died.

The Pacific Southwest Airlines Flight 182 flight was scheduled to leave Sacramento and fly to San Diego, a relatively quick flight. However, when the pilot went in for the landing, a Cessna 172 appeared underneath the aircraft over Lindbergh Field. The planes crashed together and the Cessna was completely destroyed.
