Howard Hughes led a famously secret life. He was a known recluse, so although he posed for this photo in 1961, his life did not end until he was 70 years old in 1976. He wanted his addiction to prescription medications hidden from the public. He grew more introverted and reclusive as his health declined and he grew older. His addictions included Asprin, codeine, and Vicodin.
