Carl’s Jr. is Celebrating 4/20 with a CBD Burger

If you ever wanted to relax even more while biting into a juicy burger, now is your chance.

Carl’s Jr., a fast-food chain, is celebrating the upcoming unofficial cannabis-related holiday with a new menu item called the Rocky Mountain High Cheese Burger Delight.

The burger is made from a stack of double beef, pickled jalapeños, pepper jack cheese, criss-cross fries, and a CBD-infused Santa Fe sauce. CBD, short for cannabidiol, is an extract from cannabis plants containing extremely low levels or no amounts of the psychoactive component of marijuana, THC.

The burger will only be available on April 20 at one specific Carl’s Jr. location in Denver, CO at 4050 Colorado Boulevard. The sauce contains about five milligrams of CBD extract, which may help to alleviate pain and anxiety.
