Pop singer Bebe Rexha has snagged a Grammy nomination and immediately went on the hunt for a Grammy dress. She tasked her team of finding a designer to get her a custom dress.
Soon, designers were telling her team that they didn’t want to style Rexha because she was “too big.”
This outraged Rexha and her team. She took to Twitter to explain what was happening.
Im sorry, I had to get this off my chest. If you don’t like my fashion style or my music that’s one thing. But don’t say you can’t dress someone that isn’t a runway size. We are beautiful any size! Small or large! Anddddd My size 8 ass is still going to the Grammys. #LOVEYOURBODY pic.twitter.com/0nqdjXf0Dw

Naturally, her fans and friends came to her side in support. Rexha, who is a size 6/8 in dresses, was appalled that they wouldn’t dress someone her size, which is pretty average on the spectrum!
Rexha wants to stand up for bigger girls who would get told they’re too big.
Then, two Project Runway contestants came to her rescue.
Thanks everyone for the love! We have dressed @BebeRexha a few times and would love to do it again!

Naturally, inclusivity works way better. Now, these two designers have a good connotation to their names for standing up against unfair model standards.
