31. Give 10 percent of your income away
If you look up some of the most generous people in the world, you’ll find that they’re also some of the richest. In fact, they often attribute their riches because they so willingly give some of it away.
A natural principle of wealth creation is generosity, and if we were to go by religion, everywhere we have is God’s, or spiritually, belongs to the earth. We merely are stewards over our possessions and when we die, we can’t really take any of our money with us, so why do even bother hoarding it?
If you give and donate wholeheartedly, you might find yourself stunned by the return, and more importantly, you’ll find that generosity will help you develop traits necessary to be wealthy.
