12-Year Old Boy Becomes Tattoo Artist

A 12 year old by the name of Ezrah Dormon is now considered to be one of the world’s youngest tattoo artists. The boy from Panama has already made 12 tattoos on customers that are willing to get inked by the young man. Dormon is learning about the art of tattoos from a professional in Honolulu, Hawaii named Ali Garcia. They both work in Garcia’s tattoo parlor.

Dormon started his obsession with tattoos when he was 11 years old. He saw his mother get a tattoo of a red flower from Garcia and he started to ask the tattoo artist a lot of questions. Soon Garcia began showing Dormon how to do one by himself. Despite having several customers already and incredible work done, Dormon is quick to point out that he is still learning how to become a good tattoo artist.

“Whenever someone comes to get a tattoo they always have to know that I’m still learning, that I’m just an apprentice,” Dormon said in a video posted online. “They’ll always be a little bit nervous but they’re always usually excited,” he added. So far Dormon has learned how to tattoo roses, swallows, panthers, and sharks. He keeps practice by tattooing grapefruits, which has the same consistency as human skin.

If becoming a tattoo artist doesn’t pan out, Dormon already has a fall back profession. Ezrah is currently a model and just recently modeled in a fashion show in Buenos Aires for designer Antonio Feuillebois, as part Fashion Week in Panama.
