Talking to God
The hardest part for Walt was understanding why, after he felt God tell him he would have a daughter, that that was not to be. As a child he spent many hours outside, playing with friends, exploring nature, and also, talking to God. He didn’t know if it was a normal thing to do, but it felt natural to him.
