Dr. Maria Timmer is a 29-year-old meteorologist from Nicaragua. She worked for Fox News until 2016 but left the station in order to pursue her Ph.D. at Central Michigan University. Up until then, Maria could regularly be seen on various Fox programs including "Fox & Friends." The love of all things weather definitely runs in the family, and in 2014 Maria tied the knot with fellow meteorologist and storm-chaser, Reed Timmer.
