Who Are You Rooting For in the 2021 Kitten Bowl?

Super Bowl Sunday doesn't have to be about sports. Returning in 2021 is the Puppy Bowl and the lesser-known Kitten Bowl! Kitten Bowl VIII will debut on The Hallmark Channel on Sunday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. ET/PT. Super Bowl 55 would be nothing without its adorable pet pre-game, and it's much less competitive than it is cute. Instead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Kansas City Chiefs, it's adoptable kittens playing with toys.

TV personality and cat-lover Beth Stern will be the host of the furry fight for another year. Cameron Mathison and Tamera Mowry-Housley, Hallmark Channel commentators, will also be joining her to cover all the play-by-play action. Since 2014, the beloved Kitten Bowl has helped shelter over 50,000 cats and help them find permanent homes! Is there anything better than giving back to animals as cute as these?

Every year, the Kitten Bowl's shelter partners hold adoption events during the Super Bowl weekend to gain attention for neglected shelter animals. This year, there's a bit of a twist with the shelter events. Whichever shelter manages to complete the most adoptions that weekend will receive cash grants from Hallmark Channel to help keep the rescue center running and continue its mission.

It's too purrfect for words!
