A Utah Jazz dancer got the marriage proposal of a lifetime last Monday when the Jazz took on the Charlotte Hornets.
In the middle of one of their performances, dancer, Danielle Bush, was shocked when the music suddenly switched and she no longer knew the routine like the rest of her squad...
The music changed to "Marry You" by Bruno Mars and the rest of the dancers continued on as if nothing had happened, but Danielle was caught off guard and didn't know what to do. She acted like a true professional, though, and tried to look around and follow along with the rest of her team, but the audience soon realized that her future husband was walking to center court.
Danielle's now-fiance, Brandon, got down on one knee and popped the question.
The video of the routine and proposal was an instant viral hit. The NBA posted it on their Instagram account, too.
The proposal was the creative work of her fiance, the Jazz Dancer's director Ashley Kelson, and Jazz producer and Senior Director of Entertainment Payden Adams.
In a social media post, Adams wrote "She had no idea what was coming!!! The proposal at our game tonight reminds me why I do what I do – Def one of my favs so far. Spread love and joy people."
