Cosmic Radiation
Another theory about the triangle has to do with the comet/meteor that Columbus reportedly saw during his time. It is possible that heavenly bodies such as this crashed in the area and remained in the sea floor. Comets and meteors have high radiation properties, which could explain why there are so many dysfunctional compasses and erratic navigation in the area.
