70 Years Back In Time

After carefully digging out the metal box, they slowly opened the rusted over case to reveal a ton of different items. They were all neatly backed away together. After going through some of the items, they were confident to say that the capsule had been resting there for over 70 years, completely untouched!

A Soldiers Belongings

This case seemed to confirm the assumption that many of the soldiers buried their belongings with the intention of coming back for them. This trunk was not an intentional time capsule, as the solider most likely perished in the war before he could come back for his belongings. As they went through the items, it was clear that it was definitely a Nazi soldier that perished on these horrible Eastern Frontlines.
