While most bear in the wild are typically hardlmess to humans, Grizzly Bears are not one to mess with. While other species of bears are primarily omnivores, the Grizzly is a full-blown predator. Park Rangers suggest you immediately leave the area if you spot a Grizzly Bear. When a pair of hikes had a close encounter with a Grizzly, they used their bear spray and took off.
