We all know Joe had a lot of husbands, but not much is known about the very first. According to an article in New York Magazine, Joe Exotic's first husband was a man by the name of J.C. Hartpence. Wondering why he wasn't in the show? Well, he is apparently still in prison for murder. He committed the crime after his divorce from Exotic. Hopefully, they don't meet in jail...
