In Taiwan, Houtang Cat Village is a small town with over 200 cats roaming the streets. Vaccinations have been administered to about 268 cats, so both the cats and their admirers are safe in the village.

Visitors can buy cat food from local vendors to make friends with the feline locals. However, the human members of the community keep the cats well fed.
