“W.O.L.F received an urgent request for help from Apex Protection Project, one of our wolf rescue partners in California,” the group wrote on its website. “There was a young wolf dog in a shelter in Los Angeles County, Cal., who needed immediate rescue.”
The group then explained further that New Boy was likely to be euthanized because the general public could not adopt wolf dogs. The main reason for this is that wolf-dogs are less domesticated compared to other breeds, requiring a different kind of living environment and training that makes it unsuitable as a normal pet.
