Off Kilter
The Oscar-winning Braveheart (1995) starring Mel Gibson was one of the most successful blockbusters of the 1990s. The move, which is set in the 13th century, depicts Gibson wearing a Scottish kilt, even though these kind of kilts were not worn by the Scots until much later in the 16th century.
