Chi-Chi’s
Chi-Chi’s opened its doors in 1975, and by 1995, already had 210 locations. The slogan was changed from “a celebration of food” to “Life always needs a little salsa.” After a Hepatitis A outbreak at one of their establishments, at least four people died, and the company never recovered.
