Calvin Harris has been called “The Scottish James Murphy” in the past, but sources show that harris has actually been much more successful in his ventures than our hometown hero. Calvin Harris started making music at a young age, he would post songs under the name Stouffer on Myspace in the early 2000s, where he was picked up by a producer and signed through Sony, coincidentally. Since the beginning of his career, Harris has earned close to $220 million through successful album releases, but mostly through commercial productions and ad revenue he collected from Apple, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Sol Republic, and Old Navy.
