While most people just submit a plain paper copy of their resume, in 2006 athlete and entrepreneur Aleksey Vayner made a video resume to end them all. Filled with gems of pseudo-wisdom and unironically overblown feats of physical skills (including ballroom dancing) Vayner intended for his video to be seen by recruiters only. Of course, it blew up on the Internet and was parodied on “How I Met Your Mother,” and actor Michael Cera created his own send-up.
