Christopher Pettiet was a film actor known for his role as Jesse James in The Young Riders and Zach Crandell in Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead (1991). After his career peaked in the 1990s, Pettiet became addicted to drugs and eventually succumbed to an overdose in 2000 at the age of 24. A scholarship was founded in his name to help young actors.
