Bonsall started his life in the spotlight. After playing the youngest addition to the ’80s sitcom Family Ties, Bonsall was featured in Star Trek and starred in 1994’s Blank Check. He later pursued music with The Ataris, who faded into notoriety after their cover of Don Henley’s “The Boys of Summer” was released in 2003. Bonsall has had numerous assault charges against him.
