The 1950s "It Girl," Norma Jean Mortenson, was a box office success with her role in 1955's "The Seven Year Itch." Her marriages to Joe DiMaggio, Arthur Miller, and James Dougherty, and her alleged affair with President John F. Kennedy meant there was rarely a moment when she was out of the spotlight. Her death was ruled as a probable suicide because high levels of various drugs were found in her system and she'd locked herself in her bedroom to take them.
