It's easy to hate a band just from the singer's voice. A lot of naysayers quote that John Fogerty's voice is the reason for their overrated tag. It's not a "so bad it's good" deal, it's just bad.

They didn't exactly reinvent the wheel or even push any sort of mainstream-bending narrative, so what's with all of the hype? For real, they have 30 studio albums... That doesn't even count the compilation albums, live albums, and video albums.
