There are long portions of this mountainside trek that go along extremely thin ledges, requiring the hiker to use daisy chains, a harness, and quick draw clips to secure themselves to the rock face. This hike is rarely attempted by minimalist hikers—it’s mostly for people who climb rocks and have the gear/know-how to navigate these life-threatening obstacles.
