These vast promontories offer unique vistas into the Aran Islands and the Twelve Pins mountain range, but that comes at a very specific risk. Ireland is a rainy country, so walking over the slippery rock and wet moss to see over the edge is a 1,000-foot fall to death just waiting to happen.
