The Bosnian sphere is a unique specimen, its almost entirely iron, and only has a bedrock crust and mantle. This iron content was what Dr. Sam Semir Osmanagich suggested was the similarity between this sphere and his pyramid research, when the ground surrounding these areas are regularly exposed to mineral-rich rains.
