Born John Henry Holliday in August of 1851, Holliday was born to Alice Jane Holliday Henry Burroughs Holliday, a soldier who served in both the Mexican-American War and the Civil War. Holliday had an adopted brother, Francisco. Unfortunately, the family wouldn’t remain together for long.
