The Emmy-nominated sci-fi series ‘Stranger Things’ continues its pop culture take over, this time, with candy. This Halloween, expect to see this creepy line of sweets on the shelves exclusively at “IT’SUGAR” locations around the U.S.
What exactly is available you ask? According to our sources, a whole lot of sugary fun.
Fans around across the nation can get their hands on Eleven’s favorite life-size gummy waffles (topped with faux butter), a carton of malted milk balls with a “missing” campaign for poor ol’ Barb on the side, edible slime from the Upside-Down, a gummy pollywog (aka “Dart”), old-school PEZ dispensers, gummy letters (like the ones Joyce Byers uses to communicate with Will), chocolate and fruity lollipops featuring Eleven, Will Byers, Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, and Lucas Sinclair in cute cartoon form.
To coincide with the candy line, IT’SUGAR is also selling ‘Stranger Things’ T-shirts, board games, pins, and other souvenirs from the famous series. The collection is available in stores and online, so don’t worry if you don’t have an IT’SUGAR close by.
While this may all be well and fun, most fans are simply using these treats as a coping mechanism to boost their patience until Netflix announces the release date of season 3.
