The Village
A cultish community survives deep in the forest, living in constant terror of being attacked by horrifying humanoid monsters that exist beyond the village’s confines. Eventually, it’s revealed that the monsters are simply modern-day people, and the village Elders left civilization to cope with past traumas, raising their children to live in fear of the outside world.
