Three of the cars still exist, and one just sold at auction for $541,000, and part of the proceeds went to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to support Parkinson's research. The original MSRP of the DeLoreon was $12,000, and if the one sold hadn't been used in the film, it would be worth just about $30,000.
