The Nain Rouge – Detroit, MI
This small hobgoblin is known to Detroit citizens for being around during disasters. The first time it was spotted was in the 1805 fire that destroyed the entire city. Then, it was seen again in the 1968 riots and the 1976 ice storm, both hard times for the city. Because of these sightings, the city participates in a “banishment parade” every year to make sure it doesn’t return.
