Northern Bank Robbery
This next heist involved kidnapping, hostages, guns, and impersonation of police officers. On Sunday, December 19th in 2004, two groups of armed men entered two different houses of employee’s of the bank. They held the families hostage as the one group brought one man to the others home. They were instructed to go to work the next day as normal, say nothing, and take £1 million to them at a meetup location during lunch. The two men stayed at work until after close to let the robbers in.
